April 2024. SHUTE is acknowledged for having contributed to Yohan Barbarins’ (Et al.) work on measuring shock and detonation velocities.
In April this year Yohan Barbarin from CEA - "Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives" presented his work at a SPIE conference.
Yohan Barbarin has since 2013 worked as a senior researcher at CEA Gramat, France. He is developing various dynamic optical measurement systems for shock and detonation physic experiments.
Yohan presented his teams’ work on: “Polymer chirped fiber Bragg grating for more sensitive shock velocity measurements”. You can find an abstract here.
In the article the authors thank CTO Kristian Nielsen and CCO Kristian Rode from SHUTE Sensing Solutions for SHUTEs implication in the Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating (CFBG) manufacturing.
